Savor St. Mary’s

Unfortunately we are going to have to put “Savor St. Mary’s” on hold.  Budgetary constraints of local government agencies have prevented them from supporting us this year.  And, although there was some interest expressed by a few restaurants, at this point we don’t see the enthusiasm shown for last year’s Restaurant Week.  If someone has an interest to continue development of the concept, please call Rob Plant at 301-904-1454.

Here’s your chance to discover the difference between locally farm raised food and things grown elsewhere, processed miles away, and trucked to a restaurant.
See what fresh, just picked greens, just caught seafood can do for your palate. You’ll be surprised at the difference!

Chef's will be Promoting Farm to Table Cooking with Special Dishes

An independent group of privately owned restaurants that choose to buy from local farms, watermen, and growers whenever possible invite you to come and enjoy “Farm to Table” food.  Ask your favorite restaurant to join this website and buy local products.   Buying local supports: open space in the community, family farms, keeping dollars local, small business, eating healthy, St Mary’s County jobs and helping lower everyone’s taxes.  Our goal is to promote Farm to Table cooking in our local restaurants.
